Strain Name: off-road / Allele: rw135

Allele rw135
Strain Name off-road
Type Mutant
Genotype celsr2rw135/rw135
Affected Gene celsr2
Origin and Depositor RIKEN CBS (Hitoshi Okamoto)
Link to ZFIN ZDB-GENO-051117-3
Information
Caudal migration of facial neurons is partly disrupted. This is because the redundant functions of celsr1a and celsr1b rescue the phenotype. Rw135 allele carries a point mutation (stop codon) in the extracellular domian of celsr2.
