DsRed fluorescence is driven by pax7a promoter. Once recombination is induced by cre at the loxp sites, sox5 (ml-3 MT80) becomes expressed there. This strain was established in the same way as TG1211. The transgene used originated from the same BAC clone but harbored sox5^ml-3 mutant cDNA instead of sox5^WT cDNA. |
