MT291_ki56 Phenotype of the ki56 mutant Upper panels show the head skeletons of the 3dph larvae. The reduced pharyngeal tooth and deformed branchiostegal ray are observed in the ki56 mutant. Middle panels show the craniofacial cartilage of the 3dph larvae. An extopic cartilage is observed at the lateral end of the first ceratobranchials in the ki56 mutant. Lower panels show the skeletons of caudal fin. The fin rays are abnormally formed at the dorsal side of the caudal fin in the ki56 mutant. |
