Characteristics This mutant, isolated by TILLING screening, has a single nucleotide substitution in exon 14 of fshr (follicle stimulating hormone receptor) gene. The mutation was located in the BXXBB motif, which is involved in G protein activation and truncated the C-terminus. Homozygote female are infertile.
