Participation is free of charge, but we kindly ask you to register in order to estimate the number of participants.

Tatsuo Aida by Dr. Takeuchi ) is posted with the permission of the
author and Ms. Yoshiko Aida, daughter of Dr. Aida. Please take a look

of Medaka Genetics", which is directly spoken by Dr. Takeuchi, the
only disciple of Dr. Aida.

We have reported a dynamic transcriptome landscape of medaka embryogenesis profiled by long-read RNA-seq, short-read RNA-seq, and ATAC-seq (Li Y, Liu Y, Yang H, Zhang T, Naruse K, Tu Q. 2020. Dynamic transcriptional and chromatin accessibility landscape of medaka embryogenesis.Genome Res 30: 924–937) . This is our great pleasure to announce the web version of the DVD accompanied with Medaka; Biology, Management, and Experimental Protocols which published from Wiley-Blackwell (ISBN 978-0-8138-0871-0) on 2009. All figures, photos, movies tables and some protocols accompanied with this book has been uploaded. Second version of this book will be published around September 2019. We plan to provide the figures, photos and tables in volume 2 with the same way. There are no main text in this site but we believe this website still contain several important and interesting information for medaka researchers.

New fees from July 2013 at Niigata University
The fees and the fees collection system of Niigata University were previously shared with the National Institute for Basic Biology (NIBB).
As Niigata University recently established its own fees collection system, the fees for medaka resources from Niigata University have been changed.
The fees for medaka resources from NIBB, however, remain unchanged.
