MTA (Material Transfer Agreement) is a contract that governs the transfer of tangible research materials, such as cDNAs, cell lines, microorganisms, mice, Drosophila, etc. This contract is a Uniform Biological Material Transfer Agreement between user and both NIG (National Institute of Genetics) and MITILS (Mitsubishi Kagaku Institute of Life Sciences).

Notice; If any contents were revised without permission, the contract will be void even after signed.

1) Receive MTA by e-mail
  MTA file (PDF) will be attached to your request confirmation e-mail. Your requested lines and request ID will be pre-filled.

2) Fill out blanks
Print out TWO copies and fill out all blanks. Purpose should be specific and concrete.
Bad example; “Basic research”, “Laboratory use” etc.



Authorized official should be a person in charged of intellectual property.



3) Send to NIG
Please send BOTH ORIGINAL copies to the following address. DO NOT send by FAX or e-mail.
**USA and Australia User** Please enclose permit labels with the MTA document.

4) NIG status
Status will complete after NIG intellectual property and Ryu Ueda Ph. D. check and sign the MTA.
